About the event
This webinar explores the complex inter-Palestinian political situation. Exploring the history of Palestinian politics over the past decades, we will review the establishment of the Palestinian Authority, the elections of 2006 and Hamas' take over of Gaza, and how the Palestinian political leadership became de-facto split between Hamas in Gaza and the PA in the West Bank. Through this journey, the divisions between the Palestinian leadership will become clear, and the impact these splits have had on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict will also be explored.
